At J Mohr Insurance, our story begins with a commitment to truth and advocacy. Founded in 2004 by James Mohr, a Navy veteran and former journalist, our agency has spent over two decades helping individuals and businesses navigate the complex world of healthcare coverage.

James's journey to insurance was shaped by his diverse experiences serving our country and seeking truth. During his time in the Navy, he learned a fundamental principle: when something isn't right, you have an obligation to change it. This ethos carried into his career as a journalist, where he worked tirelessly to uncover truth in the media world.

His investigative spirit eventually led him to the healthcare industry, where he discovered his true calling. Recognizing the often confusing and sometimes troubling aspects of healthcare coverage, James built J Mohr Insurance on a foundation of transparency and advocacy. He understood that having insurance coverage was only half the battle – knowing how to effectively use it and having someone in your corner was equally crucial.

Today, our agency continues to uphold these principles, building lasting relationships with our clients based on trust and understanding.
